Directions from the south and east

After Crianlarich at next village (Tyndrum) take the A82 towards Fort William.
After 30 miles you enter the Pass of Glencoe. At the bottom of this descent the valley floor opens out and you come to a small loch on the L.H. side. Just past the end of this loch (or lake) there is a sign pointing to the right signed to Glencoe Village and Clachaig Inn. Go down this single track road with passing places past the Clachaig Inn which is on your left. 1/2 a mile further on you will see a small lochan (lake) on the left hand side. Just past the end of the lake on the left you will see the sign to the Glencoe Cottages. Turn down this track. 200 metres will bring you into the Glencoe Cottages carpark.
Directions from the north and west
Join the A82 towards Crianlarich and Glasgow. Passed Ballachulish
and just before the Glencoe Hotel which you will see on the right, take the
road marked Glencoe
Village. Continue through
the village down the main street, over the hump-backed bridge at the end of the
village street and on for 2 miles until you have passed the SYHA Youth Hostel
